Griffin's Roost concept art

The seat of house Connington is at the edge of a cape, in Stormlands, a place you can imagine that's always beaten by the heavy rain, the sea and the war. Nevertheless, I must confess this was not my main inspiration for such a great location. I have imagined it not according to a place, but a character: Jon Connington. Between a memory and a real place, I've tried to represent it as Jon should do it: full of nostalgia, sadness, like one last look to a place, a situation and a happier time.
